How much coffee is in one bag?
Each product page lists the exact bag size before checkout. Please check the release details for the current coffee before ordering.
Is the coffee whole bean or ground?
Most SUNNY M Specialty releases are sold as whole bean unless stated otherwise on the product page.
When will my coffee ship?
Orders usually ship within 2–4 business days. The roast date is printed on every bag.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. SUNNY M Specialty is based in Richmond, BC, Canada and ships across Canada and selected international regions where shipping service is available at checkout.
When should I start brewing after the roast date?
Please follow the recommended rest period shown on each product page. Many releases become more expressive after a few days of rest. When a product says “Day 4 onward,” count from the roast date printed on the bag.
Are the coffees suitable for espresso?
Yes. Unless a product page says otherwise, our coffees can be brewed as both pour-over and espresso. Some releases may show their clearest expression in one method, so please check the brew guidance on each product page.
How should I grind this coffee?
Each product page includes simple brew guidance when needed. As a starting point, use a medium-coarse grind for pour-over and adjust finer or coarser based on flow rate and taste.
How long should I drink the coffee after opening?
For best results, finish within 2–3 weeks after opening. Store the bag sealed, dry, and away from heat, light, and strong odors.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods are shown securely at checkout. Depending on your device and location, this may include major credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Can I return coffee?
Because coffee is a perishable food product, we usually cannot accept returns once it has shipped. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us with your order number.
What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the package and product. We will review the issue and provide a suitable resolution, such as a replacement or refund where applicable.
Do I need to understand the research framework before buying?
No. You do not need to understand any terminology to enjoy the coffee. Start with the cup. The Lab language is available if you want to go deeper, but it is never required.
What is a Research Release?
A Research Release is a small-batch coffee release connected to SUNNY M Lab observation. It is selected, roasted, and described with more attention to cup behavior, structure, and how the coffee changes from hot to cool.
What does Lot-Limited mean?
Lot-Limited means the release is tied to a specific available lot or quantity. Once it is sold out, the same release may not return in the same form.
What is SUNNY M Lab?
SUNNY M Lab is the research and observation system behind SUNNY M Specialty. Specialty is where you buy the coffee. Lab explains the cup behavior, terminology, and observation framework behind selected releases.
